- 1 can Jacky F. Organic Jackfruit
- 2 cloves garlic
- ½ onion
- 100ml BBQ sauce
- Some oil for frying
- Salad leaves
- Onion rings
- Maya sauce
Drain the jackfruit, squeeze it as much as you can, rinse with water and cut into quite small pieces.
Fry the onion until it turns golden brown. Add the garlic and the jackfruit pieces. Fry altogether and once the jackfruit turns brown, add the BBQ sauce and fry for five more minutes.
Form a burger patty from the fried pieces, put in a baking dish and bake in the oven for 30 minutes at 200 °C.
Once removed from the oven, put your burger patty in a bun, garnish with the onions, tomatoes, salad leaves and our maya sauce. Pair with coleslaw.
